خوردگی یا همان واکنش شیمیایی فلزات با محیط، هنگامی رخ می دهد که تجهیزات روکش نداشته باشند.و در معرض رطوبت نسبی بالا قرار بگیرند. این تأسیسات به شدت مستعد خوردگی هستند و در پی آن مقاومت مکانیکی آنها نیز پایین می آید. سیستم ساپورت مدولار با طراحی و تولید منحصر به فرد خود که دارای روکش گالوانیزه گرم می باشند. در محیط های خورنده و مرطوب از زنگ زدن و خوردگی محفوظ هستند.

ساپورت مدولار به دلیل استفاده از بست های عایق دار در سیستم خود ،از انتقال لرزش و سروصدا به سازه ساختمان جلوگیری به عمل می آورند. و با شریب اصطحکاک پایین ، سبب حرکت روان لوله روی ساپورت رایزر می گرددو و در نتیجه نیروی جانبی کمتری به ساپورت وارد می شود. همچنین همانطور که اشاره شد سیستم های ساپورت تأسیسات مدرن دارای خاصیت ضدزنگ و ضدخوردگی نیز هستند. از این رو سبب افزایش طول عمر مفید سازه نیز می گردند.
